MEGHAN + MICHAEL (same day edit/concept love story)

The satisfaction of playing this video at Meghan and Michael’s reception was ridiculous!! At about the 4:42 mark Beth looked over at me worried that something had gone wrong, little did everyone know what was coming next. A few speeches before this video was played the guests were notified that Michael’s nickname was “The Chinese Cowboy” at one point in his past… how fitting.

It was fun catching up with Ryan and Beth again, their photos of Meghan and Michael turned out perfect, just as expected. They even posted a photo of Sony shooting the boy band scene. We had alot of fun at the University of Alberta during the photo session making the music video. We spent most of the day at the Coast Edmonton Plaza which was decorated beautifully for the ceremony and reception.

JENNA + RYAN (highlight video/love story)

Jenna and Ryan are one of those couples that makes us love our job! The love that these two share is so real and infectious, and the people that they chose to surround themselves with were a blast to hang out with all day. We met this couple years ago at Roslyn and Helder’s wedding, and we were honored to be chosen to share in their special day. We think seeing two people that are this in love makes for beautiful video!

We got to meet Andrea from Pink Sugar Photography who took some awesome shots of Jenna and Ryan. The emotionally charged wedding ceremony was at Santa Maria Goretti and the fun filled (and emotionally charged) reception was at The Westin Hotel.

Priya + Kevin (concept love story)

The Gym (Priya + Kevin’s concept love story) is based on a true story. Hot pink spandex, wearing a bike helmet while working on quads, falling in love in a gym, and wearing high heels reaching for the rings… you can decide what parts were true.

Special thanks to Buffy Goodman for telling Priya and Kevin to give us a call, we had a blast making this video for their wedding reception. Check out some photos of their engagement party and their wedding photos on Buffy’s blog. Snap Fitness was kind enough to let us shoot there one evening… there were a few people working out around us who probably got a little extra ab workout that night (because it was so funny)!

Amanda + Craig (concept love story)

We knew this was going to be a super fun video to put together because of how excited Amanda was when we talked about creating a music video to show at her and Craig’s wedding reception. It took a little while to get used to the camera, but it was not long before the Amanda, Craig and their bridal party were rocking out. PS…Katy Perry isn’t the only person that looks good in skin tight jeans!!
