Our first wedding of 2012, Erika and Greg took us to Hawaii to share in their picturesque wedding. There were barely enough tissues to handle all the emotion in their ceremony. We were able to surprise Erika and Greg by turning their concept love story into a same day edit with less then two hours between the ceremony and the reception.

It was raining all morning but somehow Jane Park of Belle Destination Events was able to stop the rain at the Olowalu Plantation House for a few hours while Erika and Greg exchanged their vows. After the ceremony, Erik Hornung took some pretty cool photos of the newlyweds as the sun set. After a few speeches it was off to Timba for the private afterparty!

The satisfaction of playing this video at Meghan and Michael’s reception was ridiculous!! At about the 4:42 mark Beth looked over at me worried that something had gone wrong, little did everyone know what was coming next. A few speeches before this video was played the guests were notified that Michael’s nickname was “The Chinese Cowboy” at one point in his past… how fitting.

It was fun catching up with Ryan and Beth again, their photos of Meghan and Michael turned out perfect, just as expected. They even posted a photo of Sony shooting the boy band scene. We had alot of fun at the University of Alberta during the photo session making the music video. We spent most of the day at the Coast Edmonton Plaza which was decorated beautifully for the ceremony and reception.

Jenna and Ryan are one of those couples that makes us love our job! The love that these two share is so real and infectious, and the people that they chose to surround themselves with were a blast to hang out with all day. We met this couple years ago at Roslyn and Helder’s wedding, and we were honored to be chosen to share in their special day. We think seeing two people that are this in love makes for beautiful video!

We got to meet Andrea from Pink Sugar Photography who took some awesome shots of Jenna and Ryan. The emotionally charged wedding ceremony was at Santa Maria Goretti and the fun filled (and emotionally charged) reception was at The Westin Hotel.
